These cherry turnovers are cooked in an air fryer.
Ingredients:
- 1 Can cherry pie filling
- 2 tsp Grated orange peel
- 1 Package refrigerator pie crust (or low protein pie crust depending on tolerance)
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Melted butter
Directions:
- Combine pie filling and orange peel in a bowl
- Roll out pie crust and cut out 12 small circles
- Combine sugar and cinnamon in another bowl
- Put pie filling in the center of each piece of crust, and coat edge with melted butter and seal
- Apply melted butter to the top of turnover and sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees and cook 12-15 minutes
