Sometimes making formula while traveling or on the go can be difficult especially if you or your child like the formula freshly made and you use a blender while at home. I know we had lots of issues with that, so we originally bought a Magic Bullet. The price for this one when I bought it was about $50.
The problem with the Magic Bullet is that it takes up space, and needs to be plugged in so not super user friendly when out and about without a source of power. Now at home.....we love this thing.
So we had to try and figure out what we were going to do when we were out and about, and when we didn’t have an electrical power source. I looked around, and I found an amazing portable type blender that can be charged and be used 15 times before needing to be re-charged (15 times based upon how long you actually blend it for). It is the Oster Blend Active Rechargeable Blender. This thing is amazing because you can blend on the go, and it is easy to clean up too. It also has a cover so when you remove the blender portion you can pop on a top to drink from. The price for this one when I bought it was $34.
Then I was browsing some more and came across the Geek Chef Rechargeable Blender. This one is very similar to the Oster, but they say you can only use it 10 times before it needs recharging, again this would depend on how long you are blending. This one was slightly cheaper and was $29 when I bought it.
No matter which one you try they are all nice, and can be great additions to your “PKU” supplies. As a mom, I am always on the lookout for things that will make my life a bit easier, and these products are definitely it.
