Sautéed Apple Supreme (made in an air fryer)


 This recipe is cooked in an air fryer.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Granny smith apples
  • 1 tsp Butter melted
  • 1/4 Unsweetened apple juice or cider
  • 1 tsp Packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 Cup Yogurt (low protein yogurt)
  • Walnuts (for high protein version)
Directions:
  1. Spray air fryer with cooking spray
  2. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees
  3. Core and cut apples and toss with butter.
  4. Combine apple juice, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
  5. Pour over apples and toss.
  6. Cook 6-8 minutes until soft (shake halfway through).
  7. Serve with yogurt (And walnuts for high protein version)
